Is destiny set or can it be changed? Kindergarten teacher, Liza Wilcox, her boyfriend Sheriff Tom Owens, and wheelchair bound cyber-sleuth Justin Weaver struggle with this question as they travel north to a rodeo town. They must rush to find the connection between the rodeo, a cancer cluster, ecology rallies, and a town torn apart by gangs and a big corporation's desire to level it for a new highway.
